For product managers
User interviews you can quote, not paraphrase.
The value of an interview is the user's exact words — and those are the first thing lost between the call and the insights doc. Capturall records on your own device, transcribes on-device, and extracts needs and quotes with citations back to the exact moment, so your synthesis stays grounded in what was actually said.
The problem, honestly stated
Notes replace listening
Typing while interviewing means you either miss the follow-up question or miss the note. Both cost you insight.
Paraphrase drift
By the third retelling, “I'd probably not pay for that” has become “users won't pay”. Without a citation, nobody can check.
Research participants and recorder bots
A bot joining an interview changes the dynamic, and participants increasingly ask where the recording goes and who processes it.
How Capturall helps in user research
Verbatim quotes with citations
Every extracted quote links to the exact transcript moment. Your insight doc carries evidence, not vibes.
Needs surfaced, not summarized away
Customer needs come out as discrete, structured items you can cluster across interviews, instead of being flattened into one summary paragraph.
A calmer setup for participants
No bot joins the call, consent is explicit, and by default audio never leaves your device. That is an easy story to tell a research participant.
Decisions and follow-ups, tracked
Decisions and action points from research syncs and debriefs come out with owners and deadlines, so synthesis actually turns into roadmap movement.

Frequently asked questions
How do citations work?
Every insight — a need, a quote, an objection, a decision — links back to the exact moment in the transcript it came from. Click the citation and you are reading the original words in context.
Can I tell participants their audio stays private?
You can tell them exactly what happens: by default, transcription runs on your device and audio never leaves it. If you use the browser or high-accuracy mode, processing happens on EU servers only, and the transcript is labelled accordingly. Audio is never stored unless you explicitly opt in.
Does it handle Dutch interviews?
Yes. Dutch (nl-NL and nl-BE) is a first-class language in Capturall, alongside English.
Can I cluster insights across multiple interviews?
Insights are structured per conversation today. Cross-interview clustering is on the early-access roadmap — if that is your core need, say so in your request and it will genuinely influence priority.
Do I need to record through a specific meeting tool?
No. Because Capturall records on your device rather than joining the meeting, it works alongside whatever tool the call happens in.
